Ingredients
1 cup Basmati/Normal Rice
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup water
1 onion sliced
3 slit green chillies
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
1/4 cup peas
2 tbsp ghee
1 inch cinnamon stick
2 cardamoms
2 cloves
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
Steps to make
Heat two tbsp ghee in a vessel.
Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamoms,cloves.
Then add onions and chillies to it and give it a stir.
Cook the onions till they are light brown.
Then add peas and cook for 2 mins.
Add salt and cook.
Now add coconut milk, water and allow it to boil.
Once the water starts boiling, add rice and cook it with closed lid.
Ghee rice is ready to serve.
